Message from the Knitting Fairies Cape Town:
“Thank you to staff, learners & parents at Micklefield Girls Primary for this wonderful donation for 80 beanies for Beanies for Bridges. The first photograph shows the girls wearing their creation and the second their beanies.
Another 80 were knitted by the Knitting Fairies Cape Town. So a total of 160 going out tomorrow with more coming in this week. 320 made, only 480 to go. Please help us reach our target by knitting, recruiting knitter or donating DK wool or even leftovers. We will continue with this project till end September as out Cape summer only really starts here in November. Again a huge thank you. Next week we will post all the beautiful blankets that have come in.”
