Care & Accountability Program
Last month, we continued to nurture our supportive culture through our Care and Accountability program. Once a month, groups come together to share, listen, and encourage each other – celebrating personal and professional wins, tackling challenges with empathy, and holding one another accountable to our dreams and goals. Together, we’re building a stronger network where every team member can grow and thrive.
Cape Town Career Expo
We’re proud to have represented Coast & Country Sales at the College of Cape Town Career Expo! Our Training Manager, Shaun Henry, showcased our commitment to empowering youth through employment and internships. Shaun’s recognition at the event was a proud moment for all of us – proof that investing in future talent makes a lasting impact.
August Cluster Meetings
Last month, we successfully hosted our bi-annual cluster meetings across nine venues. These gatherings are an important way to connect with our merchandisers, share valuable updates, and ensure we’re all aligned and informed. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making these sessions productive, collaborative, and inspiring.

On 22 August, we swapped work shoes for roller skates at Rollercade, Table Bay Mall! With a theme of “Fortune Favours the Bold,” our team came dressed in vibrant, funky outfits for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and incredible team bonding. It was an unforgettable way to celebrate our people and their bold spirit!

CV Drives – Building Our Team
In preparation for the busy retail season, we hosted four successful CV drives in Bellville, Lansdowne, Hermanus, and Vredenburg. These drives connected us with promising talent for our PenBev Sector, strengthening our workforce to meet the growing demands of the season.
Spar Trade Show
Our Spar Franchise team had an exciting afternoon at the Spar Trade Show, supporting orders and showcasing our suppliers’ products to potential Spar stores. It was a great opportunity to grow relationships, promote our offerings, and expand our reach. Well done, team!
