Throwing it back to February – it was a whirlwind of energy, achievements, and exciting new beginnings for Coast & Country Sales! From rewarding our top performers to forming new partnerships and giving back to the community, last month truly set the tone for an incredible year ahead. Let’s dive into the highlights!

CCS Conference

“That conference was one for the history books. A rollercoaster ride from start to finish!”

From thrilling rapids on the Breede River to unexpected plot twists (and a few battle scars along the way), this year’s CCS Conference was nothing short of unforgettable. The interactive sessions challenged us, the teamwork strengthened us, and the surprises – well, they kept us on our toes!

Despite some bouncy truck rides, flying fish, and a few eight-legged visitors leaving their mark, the biggest takeaway was this: we showed up, stepped up, and teamed up. Coast & Country Sales is moving from good to GREAT, and we’re ready to embrace 2025 with consistency and drive!

Happy Birthday!

A special happy birthday to all our team members who celebrated their birthdays last month! Your presence and dedication make Coast & Country Sales the vibrant and driven company that it is.

Ashley Wood, Clive Ludick, Ebrahiema Jacobs, Lezil Daniels, Nazli Ismail, Shane Daniels, Vavian Losper, Wesley Dawson, Zameka Dotwana.

 HRT PACT Charity Drive

As we kick off 2025, our HRT PACT team is leading the charge in giving back. Our first charity drive of the year will support Hannah’s Place of Safety, a haven where vulnerable children are welcomed with love and care.

We’re collecting baby care essentials – from nappies to formula, clothing, and more – to ensure that these little ones have everything they need.

Collections run until 15 June, and on Mandela Day, we’ll proudly hand over our donations to make a lasting impact. Drop off your contributions in the donation box at reception and be part of something truly special.

Let’s make this the biggest donation CCS has ever given!

Clusters

The first of five cluster meetings for the year kicked off with a bang! The energy in the room was contagious as the team came together to align goals, share insights, and learn from one another. And because February is the month of love, the HRTPACT team spread some extra sweetness with freshly baked chocolate donuts for our hardworking merchandisers – because nothing says “we appreciate you” like chocolate!

Supplier & Product Training

What’s better than pizza? Learning more about pizza! Sammy from Dr. Oetker led an insightful training session at the February cluster meeting, ensuring our team stays knowledgeable and up-to-date with the latest offerings.

Care & Accountability

February marked the launch of our Care & Accountability meetings, where smaller groups within the team come together to support, uplift, and hold one another accountable. These sessions are designed to strengthen our team culture, ensuring that we all stay on track, motivated, and aligned with our goals.

Volunteering at Bridges

Giving back is at the heart of what we do. This month, a few members of our team had the privilege of volunteering at the Bridges Outdoor Education Programme in Franschhoek. This initiative empowers children from under-resourced communities by equipping them with essential life skills and values that shape their futures. Seeing their confidence grow, their friendships blossom, and their enthusiasm soar was an unforgettable experience. We left feeling inspired, humbled, and grateful to be part of something so impactful.

AYP Hope Africa CV Drive

Our commitment to fostering new talent continued at the AYP Hope Africa CV Drive in Athlone, where 51 of 104 candidates took their first steps in our training programme. With Brandon and Maxwell leading the way, these young adults were introduced to the world of Coast & Country Sales and the opportunities that await them.

Recruitment

In a bid to welcome new talent into the CCS family, we hosted a CV drive at the Bellville Library, attracting an incredible 251 applicants! It was an inspiring day of meeting ambitious job seekers, sharing insights into our Candidate Program, and opening doors to exciting career opportunities.

Merchandiser of the Month

And as we welcome new talent, we also give a massive shoutout to the following team members for going above and beyond in February: Sinoxolo Matyhatyha, Bernard Lotz, Tuleka Sikolo, Monde Mhlonyane, Ebonga Sokati, Colin Snyders, Pieter Titus Joshua Seymore
